Transitional Fire have designed a bespoke full size PPV training house, built around a traditional detached or pair of semi detached dwellings. This design allows crews to train for all levels of PPV operations with features such as single point smoke logging systems, roof and common void area’s, moveable cribs.

To compliment the above we also supply a desktop classroom PPV trainer.

PPV Trainer

The Positive Pressure Ventilation (PPV) Trainer allows you to conduct hands-on demonstrations on the tactics of positive pressure ventilation. Positive pressure ventilation is an advanced fire fighting technique that can support a successful emergency response, but the right training is essential.

This tool allows instructors to train crews on station addressing both competency and training needs in a very cost effective manner.

Fire fighters need to know the proper applications and, most importantly, the limits of PPV. The PPV Desktop Trainer takes theoretical learning to a hands-on, practical level that can allow fire fighters and managers to fully understand this critical fire-fighting tactic.

The standard trainer:

• Based on a traditional pair of semi-detached houses
• Common roof void
• Varity of external/internal doors, windows and roof vents
• Supplied with an electric PPV fan and a starter pack of smoke pellets.
